LLM as Tutor

AI-Guided Learning Platform Redesign

LLM as Tutor is a research-driven redesign of conversational AI for higher education. As students increasingly turn to AI for coursework, the project examines whether these tools truly support learning or simply accelerate answer generation. Using Bloom's Taxonomy, we evaluated four leading LLM tutors across six cognitive levels and translated the findings into five interface interventions for ChatGPT. The redesign shifts AI from answer delivery to learning scaffolding, encouraging deeper understanding, critical thinking, and active learning. The project was nominated for the UX Design Awards 2026 in the New Talent category.
